Toddy II is a bespoke 57-ft semi-traditional narrowboat, used as a liveaboard for part of the year.  Steelwork is by Soar Valley Steel Boats.  The boat has a spacious rear saloon area, a mid-galley with a beautiful dresser fitted, a 7ft workroom for sewing and office space, and a walk-through bathroom with a double shower and flush toilet fitted.  The cabin has a king-size bed built into the front of the boat, with steps and a side door providing front access.  The woodwork is American white oak, with much solid oak used for the trim and furniture, and the flooring is Karndean.  The boat is centrally heated via an Alde 2928 Comfort Balanced flue boiler, and there is also a log-burning stove.  Good insulation was a priority for the owners, and there is a vapour barrier fitted, as well as under-floor insulation.  ‘Toddy II’ is powered by an Isuzu 42 engine, and has a Python Drive fitted.  There is a ‘pram cover’ fitted over the rear seating area, providing dry storage, and the deck areas are finished in Dek-King.  The front cratch area is designed as a storage area.  The interior of this boat flows, and has a contemporary feel.  The owners have created their own soft furnishings throughout and designed their unique signwriting.
